“Ocean” Cracked, “Elixir” Freed # 13

New habit, I’ve noticed: Finish off – Tomorrow’s food, Today.

This is a bit strange! Don’t you think? Why parents would make you wait until dinner, though you’re feeling hungry? Simply because they don’t want to disappoint your appetite. But the thing is: this culture doesn’t exist anymore. We are eating as if there is no tomorrow. That’s flat-out wrong. More than three meals is not only too much, it’s unhealthy. Ask your intestine?

Now, if we follow the trend, we’ll have a problem soon. Fact is, we need to feed “10 billion people by 2050.” If that is not striking enough, there is this: “close to a billion people go to sleep hungry every night.” Meeting the challenge – through food production only – won’t be enough. It’s clear, very clear: we need to scale back our eating.

Have you ever thought of skipping a meal?

If you ask me – Yes, I cut some, to feed many.

    Agree. It’s painful. Really, it is. At root, we don’t belong to tongue. Or, even sex. We belong to Universe!

  11. I do skip a meal. Interesting you suggest this. I eat and early lung and then a light dinner. I do t like feeling full or food on my stomach when I sleep. ☺️I like you way of looking at things. 😁.
