How about this: Make a Hole? A bullet hole!
Or, at least caution against it.
We followed our own mind and decisions. And now, we got this. Many were right to warn us, before it became real. Perhaps, we were too confident. Or, maybe, we forgot what losing felt like.
This horrible thing is, on our mind, day and night. What doctors see: they cannot say for sure. What we see – the “Lives on every continent” has been disrupted. The “Gravity-of-Normal” has fallen. Activities such as: shaking hands, travelling without restrictions and, going to work normally has gone.
We are facing a gravest odd, of which, we bears full responsibility. I’ll not go into whose fault; you’re smart enough to judge yourself. This is the time to get things right, we’d otherwise get wrong. Or, there’ll be more to come.
Right now. Will that continue? Yes, I guess. One thing, I’m damn sure, however. With what we do, in the coming months, this will be defeated!
What, in your opinion, does it take to fight the Covids? Please share: one thing you’re doing that is keeping you safe.

It’s been an year and, we are still guessing?!
So many people have not taken this seriously and we are feeling it’s impact. I’ve noticed, especially with the young, who think they are invincible totally disregard the admonition given, which is why the numbers are growing among young people. I find myself going out less, maybe two or three times a week at best and always wearing a mask. I am engaged with more in home projects and purging excess possessions. I am tired of being house bound, but it is what it is.
Thank you so much for the affirmation, Joliesattic. I too noticed, one part of the city taking care, doing everything. while the other parts are ignoring, taking it lightly. What I think, people who have gone through serious illness, seen difficulty are very careful and helping others. Social distancing along with a mask is a must. I suggest, we must do something extra…Take care.
Agreed. We’ve been told there is a vaccine here in our area, but no one wants to be the first to try it, so there have not been many volunteers.
Vaccine is good. It’s far side, however, is, Greed. This thing has taken common people’s money – Just laying hands on whatever the mind can imagine. Or, the media recommends. Doctor say, “infection attack throat, first and, the chest next. So, we must do everything to not let this spread into lungs. One thing that effectively helps is “gargling with warm salt water.”
Well, this vaccine will be free, so that’s good, but I guess sometimes people view “free” with a jaundiced eye. I don’t think I’d want to be a guinea pig and I think that’s the cause of hesitation.
Oh yes! Many would agree with what you say. Fear is in the air. No doubt. At least for a year, we’ve to run this “tour de France”. By that point, some guinea pig will join us too. Holding a temperature and a good throat will be a good standard.
Some people say – Malaria drug “hydroxychloroquine” helps.
My friend shared with me this article, “Critically ill COVID-19 patients make quick recovery with treatment RLF-100”: https://nypost.com/2020/08/02/relief-neurorx-rlf-100-helps-critical-covid-19-patients/
Thank you, theresaly. I just read about this drug, also called – aviptadil. Take care.
So many solutions out there! It’s good to have various options in case it mutates. You too!
Yes, I agree absolutely. This gives confidence. I Know, one thing, that helps me is Tibetain tea Thang
We have to be extra disciplined and vigilant.
COVID-19 will be around for quite a while for very obvious reasons. It’s not clear how long the vaccine induced immunity lasts because the time period has been simply too short.
There were never developed any vaccines against coronaviruses before, so, this is the first time they might work. Also, we have reports that people, who recovered, got the virus again for the second time. Only some subgroup of people might be susceptible to repeat reinfection, but once again, the time period to establish that has been too short.
There are worries about vaccines out there since they are all rushed, and I suppose, it will take additional time for people to start feeling comfortable about these novel vaccines. Time will show.
For now, we just got to stay careful and observe all precautions since reopening of businesses does not mean that the pandemic has ended.
Stay safe!
Very wise words. I agree with you one hundred percent. Apart from vigilant, we need to be disciplined. What’s helping we must continue doing it. Once a university teacher told me about the covid symptoms, that her student had gone through. From that day onwards, I started doing things, until I got what is helpful. I mean this thing need a bullet every now and then. Thank you for the visit and the wonderful advice. Have a great day.
Interesting thoughts.
Thank you, Rabirius.
Well, I wear fabric mask everytime I have to go out. Is that enough?
Hello Professor, mask is good. But, it’s not enough. Thanks for the visit and a nice comment.
Some months after you wrote this post and we are still in the middle of this horrible thing, as you call it. Which it is. What to do? Not one thing, but many. Keep a distance. Self-quarantine whenever you feel sick. Await the development of a vaccine. Live healthy and sustainable.
Self-quarantine is a nice advice. Living healhy sustainable life is all we need. Thanks Otto for your visit.
Swords and knifes are out for this drug- Medrol 8 mg, which is out of stock in Northern IND.
We saw reopening. People earning money on this. And we got careless. Things are now getting out of hands. What is next? They say Third wave?
